HK417

The HK417 is a heavy, fully automatic assault rifle in calibre 7.62 mm x 51 NATO that closes the gap between assault and sniper rifles in the ideal mixture of infantry weapons. The indirect gas-operated weapon achieves energy values of 2500 to 3100 joules in its calibre, depending on ammunition and barrel length. Sufficient energy to effectively engage targets beyond 500 metres.
