The MR223 is a semi-automatic rifle in calibre .223 Remington. It is the civilian version of the HK416, which is in service with numerous regular and specialised forces of the military as well as the police. The MR223 corresponds to the HK416 in terms of quality and fulfils almost all the requirements of its military counterpart. As an indirect gas-operated weapon, the MR223 works with the proven and reliable gas system of the G36.
